hey guys, as with the other first posters, i'm new as well...looking forward to learn from you guys!

4 consecutive failed gentoo installs in 2 days (1 stage2 installs (6+ hour install, 3 stage3's (2+ hour install)) + 1 failed freebsd install (I only discovered 15 mins into the install that all X packages are corrupted)

Point being, it's working now and apparently I got 'accepted'; a nice ego stroke, if you will.

yep freshh meat here too!!!
