Maybe an explaination is in order. Not sure where you got the idea that this was a jelly fish. Basically, this is a swollen/disfigured knee/finger joint covered in little pustules and the thumb from the top tile just popped one. I admit the striated muscles are fairly simplistic (added for the next person to blend from but I ended up with a corner again :?/ ) but I don't have any real-life pictures of them to work from.

A knee/finger joint? A blue one? That's why I thought it was water with bubbles and jellyfish -- it's freaking blue! Even the bubonic plague just happens in spots, not covering the whole skin in blueness.

I don't know guy, I've seen some pretty nasty pictures in my time surfing the net and they looked pretty purplish/blue to me. Remind me to tell you about the severed head I got in my email one time <:# yech...

Anyway, it was blue cause that's what I had to blend to, you might even call it surrealistic ;)

i think we'd all like to get 5's every time [even once would be cool haha], if i knew for sure how to make a five i'd have some, and i'd tell you how. 8^)

but seriously, while i'm always trying to produce a 5, i still think of a 3 as a decent score. i think the "bubbles" look like fungi or carbuncles [both organic], and
i think the tile works just fine in the quilt. i'm giving it a 4.

Thanks, tony. I agree that 3 is a decent score; I got worried when the score dipped down to 2.6 for a while there though. Anyway, I appreciate the comments and the 4. Have a good one.
