Why on earth does this have such a lower scores than my other ones? I think the blending on this was considerably better than many of my other tiles.

The difference between tile scores could at best be marginal. I could have given you a 5 but that would have to be earned with successful blending of more than one border in order to achieve the same results. I gave you a score of 4 because that still leaves you humble and yet, proud of this fine tile and does not defeat the scope or range of scoring possibilities. Nonetheless, it's a worthy tile and I believe, a positive contribution to the quilt. The tile is now at a 4.000 and is at the point where 50% of your total tiles remain, it's just about at the median average and from a guy who cherishes any score better than a 3.500, it's a respectable score, for your efforts and I am sure that whomever else voted on it, felt the same.
