I am sorry but I didn't like this tile
I gave it a negitive score, and it says if you do to explain why so I will try. At first I didn't feel you tried to draw anything here except a bunch of sqiggaly lines, then I saw you titled it "okay, more sperm".

It's a newbies quilt and it says this is your first tile and we're to not be harsh, but all you could do is shoot your wad on the tile? I'm sorry but I feel you did not honestly do the quilt justice. You have to excuse me but I feel insulted too because it's my tile to the right and it isn't sperm you were drawing off of, I worked a little here to try to make the stars look like they grew into musical notes. Given, I'm not a very good artist, but I put some thought into my tiles and I have tried to improve my work as I have gone in here. You did a good job of continuing the picture from the hot dog below you, so I don't see why you couldn't follow the hints in my boarder. Okay maybe you got it on the bottom and didn't get it that all sides are to be blended. I still don't know if my tile is blended well in truth and it's somethign I have had lots of problems with in the past. I'm not insencitive, I remember being a newbie. Pardon me though but I am miffed, I just feel you blew your nose on my tile. You also didn't give the person above you anything to work with in that boarder though either. I can only hope your next tiles it says you have waiting to be exposed do the quilt more justice.

Sorry guys if this seems harsh, I just really don't like the tile and if I didn't say so and why I wouldn't be being true to myself.

I think it's kind of cute, actually.
The squirmy sperm mirror the squiggle of mustard on the hot dog, which is clever, if a bit icky. I see only three problems here: the featureless black top edge, which should have provided something to the next person up to work from, the lack of transition from yellow-colored mustard to white-colored sperm, and the lack of a gradual transition from dots with flags (musical notes) to dots with tails (sperm).

IMHO, there's nothing wrong with turning musical notes into sexual gametes, so long as it's done well.

For the future
I voted 1, but that would have been a 3 if you hadn't left your borders almost pure black, and with nothing extending past them. You've detailed the haploids fairly well for their simplicity, but the solid (not to mention pure black(!!!)) background and lack of any variation in content really hurts the tile.
