I'm sure it'll be fine. Everyone's stuff has evolved a lot since that first quilt. Most of us are getting the hang of blending, and I gave a lot to blend into on this one. I'm still laughing about your duck, though! When I was doing the tile above it, I imagined an alien head or something under there, certainly not a duck. It should look amusing.
