Low scores
Any suggestions you leave with a low score would be much appreciated. What you like about it. What you don't like about it...

A question...
did you drawed over your border?, because that seems to be the problem in this tile, i can be worg any way, the landscape is great as a drawing.:)
the checked tile and the tile on the quilt seem diferent, in the border union, so the only explanation i can imagine is, that you drawed a little over your border or smudge over it. is that it?

Re: A question...
Yes, indeed I did this before I realized you realllly shouldn't do that. Oops

Re: Re: A question...
i would have given a 5 to the tile if you haven´t over drawed on your borders, the image is great, you are a good drawer

I know, I feel like such a dork. *grins* In my defense, I'm not Really that slow of a learner. I just did my first three in relatively rapid succession, and before any of them showed up.. Thanks for the compliment, though :)

well...
the clone tool is a newbie thing...then yor edges will go in eachother. just go on practice with it and then use it in your work. If you´re uncertain about your tile go and see the tile tutorial.....nice tile btw...you are a great tiler and I didn´t notice the edges at first, just the beautyful palmtree;)

Keep up with the good work!

what i did was to take the starting image, duplicate that base layer, delete the original locked one, and then erase/delete the black square you're responsible for... just make that border your frame and keep it at the top of the layer stack, then you're free to paint on any layers under it and you won't mess it up and stuff

Re: PhotoShop
Yup, I've taken this advice for my newer tiles. Just wish I'd thought of it earlier. I think this one might have looked really neat. Ah well, live and learn. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and compliments :)

Re: Re: PhotoShop
what do you mean? this tile does look great, there's just a blue line on the right if you look close

Re: Re: Re: PhotoShop
I just mean that it would have looked neat in context with the entire quilt if I'd figured out earlier how to blend properly. As it is, it breaks off into its own separate tile instead of blending fluidly with the rest of the quilt. Still, thanks a bunch :)
