The lower part looks good and the blends are well done. I would have made the duckie opaque because it is in the lower tile.

I think maybe it's the thin white wires that detract from the aesthetics/points. Not sure I can really put it into words. Is it the shadows? The transparent green wire doesn't have even a light shadow.

Actually, now that I look at it, the white part looks like it's probably a circle.

I would say it's worth 2.5 - 3.

D'oh! You're probably right about the circularity of the white lines on the white circle. They just lined up too well with the sphere and the magenta line, and I guess I wasn't in much of a circle mood that day, either. And yeah, I forgot the green's shadow. That would have made it look like it was in the foreground in front of the ducky, too. Since it is.
