it must have been hard blending from the hard-edged image above you, but did you have to give those harsh black edges to the surrounding tiles? It's a lot better if you try to draw something interesting in those surrounding pixels you fill in, as then other artists can try and extend from this, rather than having to blend in a black edge. Although I do like the red glob stuff :)
