I was all the way to the edges, and it was blended in fine.. final result isn't too pretty though???? weird.. Anybody know why?

That black line is in the neighboring tile, if that's what you're referring to.

Actually, you did smudge your borders to blend them into your tile. You shouldn't touch your borders, or you'll have visible edges on your tile like you do in this one. Next time, you should select a 128x128 square in the center of your tile so you can't draw outside of it, even accidentally.

the line might be my bad??? I dunno...your checkin tile has no line in it so maybe it's a glitch??? Cute idea!!

imho your two tiles are a good start. Not perfect or somehing, but its obviusly you got the idea behind this thing called quilt. Sounds stupid, cause its not as hard(its really easy imho), but there are some newbs, didnt get it as fast. ;)
