Levik, you have the skill to make a great tile on any quilt. That's why you were invited to this one. Don't be intimidated. Just checkout a tile and see what comes out. You would be surprised how much easier it is to make a good looking tile when you have very well done edges to work with. Also, there are quite a few simply done tiles on this quilt (i.e. some blue sky with a cloud, or some flowing water). Those tiles are fine because they make the other tiles flow together well, not every tile needs to be a centerpiece.

I'm not a fan of the black lines, but I think the way the tree blends into the other tiles is really interesting.

I can check this tile out for you again and you can edit and reupload it if you like. I really think it doesn't need anything more than a bit of a clean up. I love how it interects with neighboring tiles. You are too hard on yourself anyway.
