Re: Carl?!?!?!
what's up marc.
i'll send ja a mail over.
yeh, sorry bout the slightly shitty tiles, i'm trying to get used to blending the edges, after all fuckahs I am a newbie.
Blend ALL the edges please...
You blended the bottom edge a bit, it's not perfect but it's not terrible.
However, the right and the top are really not blended at all. I don't know if you're aware but you can't change the borders you're given, your tile is only the 128*128 black square in the middle. Did you read the tutorial it recommends when you check out a tile?
Re: Blend ALL the edges please...
yeh. i'm working on blending, i thought newbie quilts were for just that.
Re: Re: Blend ALL the edges please...
Yes, that's what they're for. But I think most would agree with me that blending is more important than content. Make the blending look right *then* start making fancy things in the tile.
Re: Re: Re: Blend ALL the edges please...
that'll all come. I think it's best to just start off really confused and work from there. hahah lol
Re: Re: Re: Re: Blend ALL the edges please...
heh, yeah, that's where i'm pretty much at right now, although i think i finally found the secret to blended edge, on my 3rd and non-visible right now tile I reloaded the original tile after i was done and cut out all the edges and pasted them back into my edited tile (which was the mistake I had made on my first two.) then I did the final blending in SUPER 500% zoomed mode and I think it actually came out pretty smooth, we'll see. Mabye there should be like Newbie quilts and Not-newbie, Not-oldbie quilts or something, cause where else are we gonna learn if not here?
