Is this the butt of a very dead/starving person, or perhaps a tribute to goatse? Haha, I jest. But a bit of explanation would be nice, unless you just want your audience to think about it. :)

well.. it's the shouldering of responsibillity that comes crumbling down... Responsibillity is not a physical weight but can still weight and tear you to pieces. The title backlash is a wordgame where you can both read a lash to the back (which could symbolise how you move on even tho you don't want), or a rebound-style backlash where all the self-caused responsibillity backfires at you.
Think emotional responsibillity perhaps as much as other responsibillities.
This is perhaps as a warning to myself not to try to hard and use up all of my energy.
