I'm a CS major too, but I've still made some tiles that I'm proud of. I think I've improved more in the last few months than in the last few years, art-wise, but that's mainly because I'm trying to make at least one tile a week instead of the sporadic art attempts I made before.

And I'm another member of the CS crowd. :) My art's got a long way to go, and I'm relatively new to the realm of digital art, but it's a start...
