Walkin' the line...
You would have raised your potential for a better score if you had done more with the bottom border, a border which makes your own tile "blockish," in that you have not brought enough green up to a point where one may perceive the delineation and distinction between your tile and the tile that you joined. Step back and see that the short range in which you've blended your work into another's, still leaves the viewer with a clear understanding of your joint and the way that you chose to blend into another's work. Yes, you have remained within the rules but you have not maximized upon the potential that was there. Sometimes when we are faced with few options in joining color masses, it is almost necessary to keep that border running in the background in order to give your own theme, a bit more punch, a bit more appeal. In this case, I think that you have sacrificed points that might have been awarded to you for not approaching the blending with more challenge, than I believe you have. You have a fine hand Henrik and are making great strides in perfecting your technique but because there is always room for improvement in EVERYBODY'S work, I felt almost required to mention this point to you and offer this little critique, in the best of intentions. Continue to excite us with your noble contributions...
Fond Regards, Eddie M.
Re: Walkin' the line...
Thank you for your critique, I had no idea what to do so I just painted for fun. I agree about what you are saying and I will lay down some more effort in my blendings, I think the same goes for Straxz Air pic?
I was little chocked over the low scores of theee two, but now do I have the answer to that. The story about the Straxz Air pic and why I did it may u find there. I have 2 yet unshown(I think) pics out there so I hope they are going to be more satisfying and one more coming.
