You need to use what's in the nearby tiles. The idea isn't to draw a little picture of your own, it's to make a piece of a larger quilt. You weren't given much, but you didn't use it at all.

You also need to give the people who create new tiles around you something to use. You gave the people to the left and below nothing at all, and the person above very little. The result is that your tile will appear out of place on the quilt.
bottom edge
I don't think this is a masterful tile -- I agree with the other person in that the dragon creature doesn't really give much blending possibilities on the top/left edges. This could be helped by having the creature less centered, more colorful, or having some objects in the background near the edges.

I did enjoy the bottom edge, since I was the one who ended up with tile below it, which was a lot of fun to make -- not the sort of thing I'd like to see overdone, but it was a neat change of pace.
