The art is great. But you missed the point of the collaboration. There is no tie in to the two tiles next to you that were already done.

I am very new around here myself, but I have to agree that it misses the whole point of continuity with the surrounding tiles. It's very cool all by itself but just doesn't play well with others.

The artwork in this tile is excellent, but it looks as though there wasn't even an effort to blend it into the other tiles, if the tile had matched up with the other two the rating would be very high. I like the work but I would like to see it blended.

I really, really hate to cast a negative vote, but - urgh!

The quality is nice, obviously alot of work gone into it, but I have one of two things to say -

i) If you didn't know the rules, that's fine. A bit of a whoops moment, don't get discouraged - it could happen to anyone. Take it as a lesson and onwards to the next tile! =]

ii) If you did know the rules - why, god why? We're here to show off, sure, but we're also here for the end result! Something like this really damages a quilt because it stands out like a sore thumb!
