did you set that on puree??
The purpouse of the messeage board is to give constructive criticism...so keep in mind that everything I say is constructive---that being said...many things to give advice about(I hope I have enough room) First and foremost, if all you care about is a score(as so blatently stated in your title)then you need to go somewhere else because you're not going to get any type of good feedback using the techniques in this tile...blending??? I call this a mess...not to be rude or anything...but c'mon either this is a joke or you really do need some serious help! 1.)the smudge stick is NOT your friend!-true, it can help with the blending of a border...but you need to try and stay away from it...
2.) At least TRY to contribute something original to add to the quilt,
Okay...that's all I'm going to say for now...I hope that this is a joke but if it's not then please...have some respect for those of us that are actually trying to make this quilt decent! ;-((

Re: did you set that on puree??
excuse me sir tile!! and yes you are being rude.
if ya got something constructive to say then say it. i'm not here just for a score it was a question. i'm new to this place it's my freakin first day and i don't need you being rude to me.
i will gladly take any "constructive" things you have to say but please get off your high horse this is supposed to be fun right.
thank you for your kind words and your wonderfull attitude.

Re: Re: did you set that on puree??
yes...this is supposed to be fun...what would you have thought if 'now where's my score' was in of anyone's title... I was trying to help you out...obviously you didn't really take my advice for what it was s'posed to be judging by your 2nd tile...I do appreciate the fact that you might have actually taken some time on this one...but tou're still not understanding the concept of adding your work to the borders around your tile and making it a flowing piece! Look-I have made pretty much all the mistakes you can and I'm sure that I'll make plenty more...I know that the way I went about 'helping' you out probably wasn't the best and I AM sorry for that...honestly what got me is the "where's my score" part...I did not mean to downgrade your ideas and I'm sorry that I was so rude..(PMS) I do think that you have talent and eventually you will be putting out some bomb-@ss tiles! With a little CONSTRUCTIVE (instead of rude) criticism...for which I am still very sorry for....you'll do just fine!
Once again-sorry for the attitude-I would like to be able to help you out! I'll be much more tactful next time! :-))

Re: Re: Re: Re: did you set that on puree??
ow ya and i realy didn't know where my score was.
i see looking back how that can look bad.
but at that point i hadn't even found where ya vote at.
i was clueless. sorry about that.
and i coulda swore i read somewhere that it was ok to just make the tiles
flow together to continue the quilt.
guess i misunderstood. "sorry"
i'll try to be more creative.
it's just had with a pic so small and at 72 dpi

This is what I see,
S large storm cloud, rollone overthe water. The wind starte to houl, and a strong updraft starts pulling the clouds into a flurry of swirls, just as when a tornado starts. All of this being reflected over a calm but scared watery surface.

Then again it might just be a bunck of smugdes blended together.

What is this picture? Do tel me what you were thinking when you made it, I am intrested.

Hint: Try to blend the borders and make a flowing partial picture out of what you start with. Lok forward to more.
