how the poop do you make that? I still lack that skill :(

it's pretty easy actually once you get the technique down. just takes time hehe. all i do is make a bunch of different layers (1 by 1 of course) and make sure they've all got shadows and highlights.. for the smaller wires i just use layer fx bevel and drop shadow but on the bigger ones, sometimes you gotta draw it yourself. aside from that its just filling em in and making em look dirty.. i usually use a combination of noise and low opacity color burn and/or multiply with dark reds and browns and umm "grungy" brushes hehe :)
