Overly harsh?
Come on people - ok the blend on the right isn't perfect but this is a newbie quilt. Surely this tile is worth more than a 0.

The blending was overdone, I suppose ... when I zoomed in on the border there was this (horrible) line on the edge that was generally a different colour from the rest of the border. Didn't know what to do with the line, so I tried filling my bg with the other, the base bg colour but the line still showed ... wasn't too keen on ruining the base colour (which I kind of liked) with sharp lines that really didn't fit into the forms of my other more rounded elements. A booboo to blend in that line, I guess.
But then it'd appear like it was my fault if I didn't blend it in completely ...
