Good Job
This must be a take-off of "Snow falling on Cedars" :) Too bad about the black line in the lower tile and the poor blending of the right tile.

Re: Good Job
well, you should always vote him after his efforts, and what he did of his borders - not what other people did. The newbie-quilts is actually only there for people to get a hang of it (and sort out the REALLY bad seeds) until they can work on the mainquilt... and the mainquilt, which even thoe it genereally hold a higher standard and have some really nice spots, is only a step in the path to becoming a better artist and participating on the high-score or invite only quilts..

Re: Re: Good Job
I'm not sure I understand you? I did vote based on his efforts; I was merely expressing sympathy for his misfortune of being next to an unblended tile. And I do understand that everyone on this quilt is just starting out which is why I've tried to be supportive and provide helpful pointers to others. I don't know, maybe my comments weren't that helpful <:?/

oh. I just woke up when I wrote that other post so if it sounded angry or something, that wasn't the point... I was kinda just... uhm... I dunno, saying how "things like that always happen in the newbiequilt"...

Re: Ahh, I see.
No, I wasn't offended and didn't think you were angry, just wasn't sure what you meant. Consider it resolved. :)

Re: Good Job
thanks. The upper part of the mountain could have been blended better, and this was a very hard tile to blend in the rest of the elements. The clone on the right was originally the rocketeer from the StarWars EPII trailer. That black line screwed me up on the bottom. I didn't even see that or I would have drawn something else. Oh well. Man, I just wish that the one next to me could have blended a little better, but for what I gave him/her I know it must have been hard. Thanks for your comments. I didn't really like this one that much before, but now that I've gotten some feedback, I like it.
