Hmm... you comment about it being hard to blend, but then again, you really didn't blend it. :) By only continuing the border a few pixels and then cutting it off like you did, you don't really achieve a sense of blending. You gotta try to incorporate your neighbor into your tile somehow :) Best of luck!

I fell into the same trap on my first tile, too. Try to avoid abrupt breaks between tiles. But, I think it's forgivable at this level. At least it wasn't a completely straight razor-edged break.
