As it wasn't being blended into an existing tile I would think you are just not applying enough solid colour to the edge of your tile. It seems as though the edge may have a slight opacity to it. Common when you're using an airbrush. Try overlapping a lot and then cut the waste off afterwards.

You don't have to cut anything afterwards, as the scripts will do it for you on upload. The only thing one has to make sure to do is to paint well over the edge of the draw here area so that this "edge darkening" doesn't occur.

Or you could do as me - cut all the borders out and place them on top, with a transparent hole where the "paint here" area is... Then I leave that layer on top and never touch it... This way, I know I'm not painting on anything that won't be used...

I thought everybody did it that way. It's the BEST way :)
