Don't draw on the checked area
You don't need to waste your time drawing on the checkered area, it gets cut off anyways. Just do the black area marked "draw here" anything else is a waste of time. You've done like 11 tiles, you should know this already.

I do know this..however it is easier for me to draw to the edges. I have tried it before but I felt like my drawing did not run to the edges.

It's not like it's *bad* to draw on the checkered area. There's no reason not to if you want to - it doesn't hurt your tile or screw up the site or anything.
